Dr. Konstantinos N. Konstantakis is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and a Tutor at the Hellenic Open University. He obtained a PhD in Economics & Econometrics from NTUA, an MSc in Economics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), and a 5-year Diploma Degree in Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences from NTUA. 

His works builds on Mathematics and Statistics using state-of the-art Quantitative and Econometric techniques, to model the various processes of the Economic and Financial system.

He has authored more than seventy (70) papers in peer reviewed Journals and Conferences, has received a scholarship of excellence, and has been awarded two Post-Doctoral Scholarships. He ranks among the best economists (top 15%) of the last decade (IDEAS 2022).

Dr. Konstantakis has participated in two Horizon 2020 projects with an active role and has considerable working experience in the private sector, and especially in the food processing industry. In both roles he was responsible for the day-to-day efficient operation of the respective organizations, using state-of-the-art methods and techniques.
